restraining order threats

You huffed and puffed about a restraining order, but in all those times I went to counselling to fix problems you said I had, you didn't realize my counsellor connected me with a lawyer and the police. At first because I wanted to fix being a jerk, which I admit I was. But as time went by, and you kept threatening me with restraining orders and things you thought would scare me, and kept keeping my emails to use against me... you didn't realize what you were doing was, by law, "communication." You can not converse with someone and only use their words against them. Thanks to you, I learned this in spades. I used your manipulation against you, you've just been too blind to see it.

Oh. You got yourself tangled up with one of those ones. You basically have to go off grid and go homesteading to escape them. They'll just shadow, and bait you by technological means for the rest of your life otherwise.

Don't flatter yourself

I don't believe a word of what you're claiming. As if a counsellor would be referring their patients to a lawyer! Not to mention that what you say the lawyer told you is complete BS. It's normal for people who have broken up to still have some kinds of communication for purposes of dividing up property, etc., or otherwise. When one person is clearly threatening another, as in calling them terrible names or texting or calling constantly, it makes perfect sense to tell that person to stop or they will have a restraining order filed against them. It also makes perfect sense to keep records of all such communication for legal purposes, should that become necessary. I suspect that you're one of those people doing the harassing, and whoever it is that told you they were going to file a restraining order likely had very good reason to say it. Why don't you just move along now and leave them alone, then you won't need to be worrying about any restraining order, will you?

Restraining orders

...mean you were much more than just being a "jerk". Sounds like you haven't learned much about yourself. It also sounds like she had a perfectly legitimate reaction to you.

You.
