What they really want is it legal without government taxation or have to pay a dispensary permits when opening a business. They're oversized children who want weed to be taken seriously as a medicine and a business but when it's time to behave like grownup's and pay taxes and follow legal rules when opening a business they have little tantrums. "free the weed, man!"

Someone needs to set up a tent city in their backyards so maybe they can have an idea what it's like to have people who just do what they want when they want around. It gets real uncool after a while.

Been legal 6 months after 90 years of being illegal. People are still trying to roll it back. The protest will end when the stigma around it ends.

Real legalization

doesn't still give off the idea that cannabis is a bad thing or that only gives you the option of irradiated schwag from the gvt sanctioned LPs.

It only happens once a year, no one got hurt, there were no deaths, no fights, there was no violence, no stabbings, couples didn't get into arguments, no one throwing up on the sidewalks, it's over for another year

Not a protest

Now that it's legal it's highly controlled. People that have been persecuted for selling pot in the past have seen no benefit from legalization. These people can't afford the licenses required to sell now. In fact, the only people that can afford tend to be rich white men.
This is only one point, there's still lots to fight for.

"Protest"

is just marketing for their commercial event.

The entrepreneurs at the top of the chain are charging others thousands of dollars to set up booths on public land for which they have not been issued any permits. And they consider themselves oppressed.

Smoking pot may be fun when you’re in high school, but there comes a time when you need to grow up and be a responsible adult. Most stoners don’t realize it until the day comes when they have to move out of mom’s basement.

What? Weed is legal?

Wait, it's legal? Screw it.
