... recently too. You go out with a group of friends and "that guy" has a small speaker and sometimes asks "hey, anyone else have a playlist?" or something. Then the whole event is listening to music, sometimes music they don't even select themselves, they just have some algorithm do it.

I give people the longest and most ignorant stare down when I see that happen everywhere. Go buy some wireless headphones and hide in a corner for a while.

Even worse when people blast their music at campgrounds.

What’s worse is now practically every ski boat has big speakers. They don’t know or care how sound carries over water. I’m sometimes embarrassed on their behalf.
