The weather up here

Lately it has occurred to me that to a lot of people, I am pretty much a giant. I mean, I am not freakishly tall but I am well over 6 feet, which is taller than most people. I really haven't thought about how this might make other people feel. Sometimes I see someone from far away and think 'wow that dude is a giant' and I get closer and realize we are the same height. I find it really intimidating to be around someone who is even an inch or two tall than me, since it is pretty rare. Does that mean people are scared of me? Am I imposing? None of this has occurred to me before, that to some people I am pretty much a giant.

And can't tell you how many times while in a pub or bar, some shorter guy (usually under 5'6) decides I'm an asshole. And starts mouthing off and trying to start a fight with me. I never even noticed them till they got in my face.
Funny thing is my arms are long enough to keep them away from me,which only gets them madder.
I'm 250# with very low body fat, so why does a guy a foot shorter and 100# less think he has the slightest chance?

Not especially

I guess it depends on a person’s experience. I’m very small but I’ve always had very tall men around me, and well as tall women. So tall people don’t intimidate me in the slightest.

@im6ft5
Reach and weight are great, but training and savagery are better.
Your bar fight problem sounds like Short Man Syndrome, or Napoleon complex, if you prefer. Some dudes are insecure enough that it drives them. Can't be helped.
I'm average height, but used to spar with much taller people, so it doesn't register as a thing for me personally. But not everyone is lucky enough to have that experience.
Formal training in violence often inspires one to simply avoid it, instead. Win by not fighting, as it were. Wu Wei.
Depends on one's character, of course. If any.

I'm 6 foot 4".

The down side is that I am surrounded by shorter people who can easily see up my nose. I make a point of making sure my nostrils are clean and there are no boogers for them to see.
The up side is that women automatically assume that my penis is proportionate to my height. :)

Five Feet Tall

Everyone is a giant. It’s only intimidating if you act like a douche bag. One of the sweetest guys I know is 6’6 and he’d never hurt a fly. My first love was 6’5 and although we looked kinda silly together, we didn’t let the height factor in our relationship at all.

dated a 6'8" guy

unfortunately he had shallow/superficial values.
And, no, the penis is not proportionate to height (or foot size).
He had an average size dick, whereas a 5'5" guy I dated had a bigger one, and a 5'8" guy had around 8-9".

Whatever..
