I thought they were simple. It all started with a seed that grew into a certain type of flower that attracted a certain kind of bee. The bee was a metallic green sweat bee. It was last summer. I was smoking a doob on the patio with my partner and was sitting cross legged in the sun on the concrete flat we made into a veggie and flower oasis. The hive of a honey bee is so complex! Rules regulations and policies that havent changed for thousands of years that they all follow. I thought we had you know that big fuzzy bumble bee and a smaller bee. I didnt know that honey bees are going extinct by the millions. So i attended a bee seminar. Came home and the next day we are outside and i hear a hydro pole buzzing.. We are silent like dude wtf.. A SWARM of honeybees is next door. They came after the rain on the first hot day. We decided to take a free course through the canadian agriculture website for FREE to learn more. I have to say a free webinar or course on the weekend now adays is unheard if so i will share. I look back and think how did we get here? It all started with that green bee and a few seeds.
