coastal

it's really frustrating when you do the responsible thing and 'reach out' - only to find that unless you're actively using, harming, drinking, delusional or planning on offing yourself, coastal health doesn't seem to have bupkes for you. i wouldn't mind if it wasn't for all the bullshit about how you should seek help BEFORE you get into that zone. admit that there is none till you're there, and i'll cross 'rage disorder' off the list of things that i guess i'll just keep on keeping on with alone.

There is some help available, but you’re right, the public health authority usually only sees the most severe issues. For other things, if you are on a limited income, there are non profits which have low cost counselling available. Family Services has sliding scale individual counselling. Best wishes to you.

gives a rats ass,
Its a shame so many people in need of someone to talk too.
Its hard when you are trying to heal yourself.
All by yourself.
I was told by a professional " go for lot's walks and go to the library".
That will help you get over being abused and all the sadness you feel inside.
Nice Huh

I feel like perhaps u need to take a step back. I've gotten plenty of help and I'm not any of those things u listed. what is it u want exactly? are u wanting a pharmacological solution? a medical one? do u want psychotherapy? counselling?

what's more, what self help are u using? what techniques are u working on your own to help improve ur situation? I find health care providers much more accepting of a plan that includes both patient initiative and medical help too. take ownership. u can't do it alone but they can't do it for u either.
