Drunk showers -

it’s a thing. Well, so I found out (for the first time) a few weeks back. The thing is, I’ve never been that insanely drunk before. I have to admit, I was always a casual drinker. A few weeks ago, I went out with classmates to celebrate the end of our health science bachelor’s and we all had a few too many (hah, ironic, I know). I didn’t black out, as most millennials tend to do when they go overboard with the drinking, so I remembered my night. One thing I remembered in particular: my shower at 3am. I remember sitting there, in the warmest shower I’ve ever had, eating my twenty piece chicken nuggets and drinking my iced coffee from McDonald’s. I confess that this was probably my favourite shower ever. Now I don’t know if that’s sad or just embarrassing...but it feels good to get that little thing off my mind (even though that shower pops in my head at random times).

Coffee from McDonalds is always embarrassing

Most millennials tend to black out? And you are taking health sciences? What kind of backasswards stats are you being taught? “Everyone inside this arbitary age range we have all decided to call ‘millennial’ blacks out when drinking.”

Do tell, what do baby boomers and Gen Z and Gen X do when they drink too much? Since one’s year of birth determines how one reacts to alcohol. It couldn’t have anything to do with body type, just when you happen to be born! SCIENCE!

Lots of young people tend to binge drink and black out. It’s not a millennial (or any generation) thing. Small point I know (and I’m not a millennial), but Im just sick of people talking about the current generation of young people like they are some strange alien species that has flaws that previous generations apparently didn’t.

Drunken Showers are truly the best

I thought I was the only one that did this. No matter how drunk I get I always shower when I get home and remove my makeup.

I’ll bite...How do eat a 20 piece McNuggets IN THE SHOWER? Please reply back...I must know! Doesn’t it get wet and soapy? I’m 50 and thought I knew everything until this.

Mystery must be solved.

Im over the millenial comment, not as triggered as some. However, how in the hell were you able to eat chicken mcnuggets in the shower? Did you have your back against the shower head, and were eating facing away from the water? sounds heavenly. Must try.

Aha, for those inquiring about the “How?” part of this, I'd honestly advise you to give it a try. I would say that I reflect on this shower a lot because it was a point in my life where I gave zero fecks about everything. I just did it.

(For the details: my apartment has a rectangular glass shower. It’s like a little room; I just walkd into the shower, turned the shower on, pointed the nozzle toward the front of the shower, sat down and ate my nuggets. Mind you, I was very intoxicated, so the warmth and nugget eating was a heavenly combo for me.)
