I don't mind the fire

It is a natural part of forest rejuvenation, and a different climate of forest will likely take over. It is a beautiful natural cycle.

Dan offers some advice on where she might find it.
You sat across the bar from me. I looked up and we caught each other's eye and both smiled....

And I guess you don't mind the smelly, smoky haze that blanketed the entire Lower Mainland for weeks last summer.
You don't mind the fire?

Then why don't you jump into one of the wildfires & see if you still "don't mind it"
Well

Where there’s smoke there’s fire and if you play with fire you’re gonna get burned. Don’t forget to stop drop and roll cause these downvoters are on fire.
Not really

Are you a first year biology student by chance? You’re partially correct in that fire can have a rejuvenating effect on an ecosystem, but the issue is now that the natural ecosystem has already been disrupted because of so much development in areas that used to be wilderness. You wouldn’t feel the same if you happened to be one of those people directly effected. If you’ve ever been forced to flee your home with fire all around you, terrified for yourself and your loved ones. If you were forced to live somewhere else for weeks or even months, only to go back and find out that all of your belongings were burned up. Living in outlying areas has become the only option for so many people now, thanks to the skyrocketing cost of housing in the cities or suburbs. Where should everyone go to, to avoid being caught in a wildfire, if they can’t afford to live where they’re less likely to happen? You’re being extremely naive.

fires are NOT part of a natural cycle.
