I’ve fallen for a stripper

I recently went to a strip club for the first time. I’m in my 30s. I had two dances with a kind and beautiful performer. I know they have a way to make you feel like the most important person in the room. But between powerful eye contact and laughing, I felt a instant bond. I felt she did too. When I mentioned, she blushed and just nodded. And that’s that.

Real or not, it's a thing. Been there.
Didn't work out in my case. Probably a blessing. I had mine in my 20s, and was way too young to manage something so complicated. Or even to know myself and my own mind.
Lucky me. That sort of situation presents TMI (too many issues) and TMO (too many options). Painfully true decades ago. How much more so now that TMI and TMO have become normalized, in this age of hookup culture and social anxiety?
The women in my life don't make a deal of stripping. They've considered it on occasion, and may again.
The oh-so-empowered cries of "never settle!" make me laugh. The same people whinge in the next breath about lack of relationships. Duh. If they never settle, they'll never have one.
That's how it's supposed to work. There's always someone "better" - if not in that moment, then in the next. And as the person changes, more ideal candidates come available. Of course. Especially with today's population density, it can be no other way.
Feature, not bug.
Because it's not a matter of settling FOR a particular person. One has to settle ON a certain someone, and choose to make it work with them.
Hope you find one right for you, mate.

Things will progress....

You really reached to try to find any sign of connecting. You gotta get out of strip clubs and meet women who are available.

She Could Be The One

You gotta throw all you have into this one. The signs she was giving you...well, dancers don't just flirt with anyone! She's totally into you.

If you let this one slip by, you'll regret it for the rest of your life. You have to try. I'd suggest cutting her a big cheque - or just give cash if you can swing it! She'll leave the industry and you two will have a fantastic story to tell at parties!

(Is that the response you were fishing for, troll?)

She strips for tips

"and meet women who are available"

The way they sit and walk around with closed off body language and RBF, I'm quite sure there really aren't many around.

Strippers those are still around.

I had nothing but strippers and hookers in my black book of love. Sure they are hot as fuck and holy shit a real good times, the stories I could never tell my kids are so memorable. Still they are as I was at the time broken and a real catalysis for broken and crazy making non-actual love. We are always drawn to those who can fill an empty receptor in our minds that never got it's proper dues while we were being reared. No sickco's that raised by parent or guardian that themselves lacked a certain je ne sais quoi in their hearts. So my advice to you is, do yourself a favour and date her once see if she is a dancer for money or a dancer for love. The latter is the one to avoid, good luck.

As a woman

I love going to strip clubs and watch the men delude themselves. “She only wants money from everyone else, she REALLY likes me.”

It’s hilarious! Hours of fun for the whole family! Seriously, ladies. After a bad breakup, grab your girls, hit a strip club and watch the men. You’ll thank me later :)
