I went to UBC Emerg. and was treated by a student doctor.
I was sick with the flu and he was so kind and gentle.
He told me I could tell him anything, he would never judge me. I couldnt..
He had no idea the hell I was actually going thru at the time. ( it ment a lot though, his kind words and I never forgot them or him.
When he touch me, I felt fire.
And it was not the flu!
So Odd. So Cute
Never saw him again, but I so wanted too.

Um OP said student doctor. Translation: hundreds of thousands of student loan debt and hardly a six figure income. BUT smart and obviously cares about helping people and sounded like a decent person who tried to make someone ill feel seem. By all means go ahead and keep deluding yourself and putting down women as only caring about money.

Just plain sexually repressive and mystical.
If a woman thinks a man is attractive, why should her sexual feeling be repressed? There's a difference between saying "you're cute, want to have sex?" and groping him. At bottom, the above poster is talking about sex, but due to a sex-negative culture and repressive, authoritarian patriarchal structure, she is unable to express her sexual feeling.
Last century, the feminists waged a war against the mere expression of "unwelcome sexual feeling" (called sexual harassment) and the fallout has impacted both men and women, especially those under 30, who are having less sex than ever before.
Telling someone you find them attractive should not be this big, overly-laden mystical experience with a huge sense of sin and guilt. It should be something people do several times a day, if they like. But we need to keep those naughty boys in line, if we can convince them to repress their expression of sexual feeling, logically, they will forget about it and rape culture will die, right? It's not that simple, and sexually repressive climates impact women, too.

The flu?

Wwhy would you go to emergency for the flu? There are a lot of immune compromised people who go through emergency so bringing your contagious self to the hospital was cruel and selfish.
