Good luck with that; although that's not how it works. They check your tickets at the counter and don't let you into the lounge if you don't have business class tickets.

I was in the YVR Air Canada lounge once when flying with my boss. He had some kind of V.I.P. status as he was a frequent flyer. The lounge was no big deal. We sat in high-backed chairs sipping expensive Remi Martin brandy while munching on typical airline peanuts and looking out at the tarmac.

If you're flying Air Canada, it costs $25 to use a Maple Leaf lounge. It's worth it if you have a long layover.

Hahahaha....these lounges require some kinda status....elite air Canada memeber, some kinda credit card (bmo) or u can pay to get in.....

actually they do. I fly business class all the time and go into the lounges. They scan your boarding pass before letting you in. I've seen them turn away many people that do not have the right ticket. In the priority lounge the same thing, they scan your priority pass and turn away those that don't have it.

They 100% check your ticket as you come out of the elevator right at the front desk (AC lounge).

And like buddy said, you can just buy a pass and don’t need the more expensive ticket.

I make like 4 stiff drinks, eat everything I can and put sodas in my bag for the flight - YOU FREE POUR YOUR OWN DRINKS, OF COURSE THEY CHECK YOUR PASS! Lol
