I MUST CONFESS

I Love to Sing. The problem is I'm shy about it. So I have been singing with my headphones on while walking around Vancouver. The traffic is so noisy I figure no one can hear me and I'm kinda working on my shyness.. So if you hear some cat scratch singing around town. Lol Sorry in advance. Music is in my Soul Man !

You shouldn’t sing. Just keep walking, head down and look into your phone.

So, which song is it?
"teach Your Children" or "Wild One"?

Inflicting singing or whistling or other noise on those who happen to be sharing public space near you is rude.

If you stepped outside of your headphoned cocoon, you might be able to overcome your shyness by actually experiencing your surroundings.

Apologies are not needed. If enough people had your melodic spirit, the world would be a much better place. Sing on maestro.

Um... Hells, No?

What a truly horrific proposal. All parts of it.
Most people sing off-key, have little sense of rhythm, and have no idea how they sound to others. Thus why musicians have monitors. It takes far more than a "melodic spirit". Otherwise you just inflict misery upon bystanders, like a loud motorcycle or a drive-by shooting.
Record yourself singing, and then take a listen. Even compare to the original. You'll be surprised, as almost everyone is.
Music may be in your soul, because probably best to keep it in there.
Both my parents were concert pianists and music teachers. I chose instead to play other people's stuff in my DJ days, though I have both perfect pitch and a sense of rhythm.

Was my performance debut in nursery school. I've such fond memories of singing along with all my family at Christmas and such. Singing duets with the masters- Gordon, Elton, Johnny and Paul, Four Brothers, Kingston Trio, Francis. These are the happiest moments of my life...
