Ever since that time someone who was obviously texting and driving nearly went through a red light and hit my dog an I, I'm a real asshole to people who text and drive.

Text me next time I'm driving and I'll correct your grammar for you. On the fly. Heh.
Seems necessary - it's "hit my dog and me", not "hit my dog and I". Just this once, I'll let the poor sentence structure slide. It was arguably run-on anyway.

I was in the middle of hooking my trailer up to my truck, and some guy slammed into the trailer at 50 kmh. How does one not notice a trailer unless he's on the phone?
Anyways,I'm still recovering but don't think I will ever be the same. But I'm so thankful to still have my legs, not be in a wheelchair, and still be alive.
So no mercy for these texting drivers.
