No way out now

Haven't left the house in 6 days trying to write a 1000 word insight paper. Maybe school isn't for me.

1000 words. Really
Do your best.
Thats all you can do..
Around 1000. Close to a 1000... Like they count the words.
They are too busy drinking coffee with Bailey's, in the teachers lounge..
No worries..lol
You"ll do great!!

Make an Outline

All papers have the same basic structure. Once you have an outline of your paper, you have done 50% of the work. It will focus your ideas so you can write more effectively, and make it easier for readers to follow.

- Start with your main idea or thesis (this will serve as your introduction)
- Write down 3-4 supporting ideas (this will be the body)
- In the conclusion, summarize your thesis and supporting ideas, then add one new idea to explore in a future paper.

After that, just fill in each section with details. Each body section should follow the same basic structure as the whole paper: start with introducing the idea, then support it, then summarize. The intro needs to be particularly good to attract the attention of the reader: start with something intriguing, explain your main idea and supporting arguments, then describe the structure of your paper.

After reading the intro, your reader should know pretty much what the entire paper is about. This is to summarize your takeaway message in case your reader is lazy and doesn't want to read the whole paper, or in case they get lost while reading it.

Good luck. Maybe English composition isn't your thing but that doesn't mean that school isn't your thing. You have to find your passion. Thankfully, everyone can learn how to write a decent essay. It just takes practice.

So excellent when it's done and handed in, and you'll get better at it. That's what learning is all about.

....get something down and keep going. It’s better to have cloth to work with, and only you can make the cloth.
