Reminds me of how Ian Fleming's best friend used to complain about his cooking: "Ian, it tastes like armpits..." It's called British Columbia for a reason. The Brits are not known for their cooking. Or rather, not in a good way.
In most other cultures, spices are the norm. Had some homemade Caesar dressing with Russian garlic the other day. My skull almost exploded. Habaneros are for wussies.
