Different days

Some days it all seems harmonious. I am at ease with myself, and the world seems friendly. I see the goodness and beauty in people, and even in evil acts I see a poor wounded person caught in a trap. But other days, perhaps even the very next day, I am unworthy and unloveable. Everything bothers me, people are selfish and inconsiderate, everything sets me off. Sometimes I try to connect the dots. Can I repeat what made the good days good, and avoid what made the bad days bad? But I can't find the cause and effect, it is not so clear.

If you figure it out, let me know. I haven't been able to put this in words the way you have.

On a macro level I think this might be a sign of the times in some ways. A lot of the people who are in power in this world are sociopaths and the rest of us are wondering wtf is going on and who/what is trustworthy. Most therapists are taught to bring everything back to an individual level but recently they’ve included environmental grief if the DSM-5. I think it’s possible they will include societal breakdown as causing anxiety, depression, and triggering mood disorders in the future. For now, on an individual level you would have to have some form of counsellor evaluation to find out why you are having mood swings and self directed disgust. It could be anything from stressors to genetics to diagnosed mental health issues. Or something else.

Your physical self produces most of your emotions.
From the respiratory, hormonal, digestive, neurochemical and musculoskeletal systems. They teach biofeedback training to counter this, at a hefty premium and mostly to elites.
The US Navy SEAL curriculum includes a simple breathing exercise to recenter oneself in any situation. TIME magazine has a brief, easily accessible bit about it online. Recommended.

The conventional wisdom is that emotions and thoughts originate in the brain, but that's rarely the case. Sensations of the physical self beget feelings, creating emotions and thoughts. Thus why sleep, diet, yoga, exercise, meditation and the like can change one's mental and psychological state so radically.
Gut thinking is an actual (and often wrong) thing. Not what the gut is best for. Heh.
The old saw about how "If you don't have your health, you don't have anything", is not parental nagging. Just a statement of the obvious. When the body is suboptimal, the mind is afflicted. Usually.

You are stuck in a vortex.
Between half truths and lies.
Looking for you, beyond all the veils of lifes deceptions.
Words have no meaning anymore. All you were told that was real and true, is not actually what it appears to be.
Your are not in the Matrix anymore.
Will you take the blue pill or the red one?
How strong are U?

You're not alone

It's the exact same thing that happens to me, some days I have a smile on my face that won't go away, people seem friendlier, the trees look greener and simply sitting outside breathing the fresh air feels like the best sensation on earth but then the bad days come and it's like people are meaner and intentionally hurtful, the day seems dull and lifeless even if the sun's shining, my mind starts to replay all the bad moments that have happened to me and then its just one bad moment after the next, in days like these you may stub your toe and either yell with an outburst of rage or drop to the floor in a ball and cry because you feel like the whole world's coming down on you.... I wish I could say I've figured out how to make it better but I myself am still working on it, so I hope you enjoy and cherish the good days while you live through worst days and try to remember that once you made it to another good day you've won!

Take care of yourself:)

Life ebbs and flows

Sometimes we're feeling on top of the world, sometimes we're not. The vast majority of people go through that. Go with the flow and focus more of your time and energy on actions that lead to the life you really want to live. As you do that, you'll see the ebb and flow shift in the direction you seek.
