I'm perplexed by Quebec

banning the wearing of religious symbols by people working in the public sector. Isn't wearing a suit and tie a religious symbol of the Church of $$ ? ................................................. "Why can't we all just get along?"

... a suit and tie is not a religious symbol, it is called "business professional," it is what you should wear. If a job doesn't pay enough for its employees to wear suits, then it is likely not paying the employees enough, so having suits as a dress code is a way to ensure employees are paid a sufficient wage.

"Church of the Almighty $" and if the archetype offends, no problemo. How about The Holy Church of the Business Professional. ha ha ha

The bill will be tossed out eventually. Someone will fight it and win. That not a Canadian "value", right? Self-expression and tolerance etc..

Well...

They've seen what's happened in France, and don't want it here.
And I applaud them for it.

Suggest we first look what's happening on our local streets with the tragedy of homelessness and substance abuse. That has Zero to do with immigration. It has to do with the failure of the adults in the human family to stand up in a sane way & enforce a just rule of benevolent law. I'm good with brother Jag doing it, and him wearing a Sikh turban is not an issue.
