Karma?

I spent my inheritance following a recently single woman around Southeast Asia to Yoga retreats. We got really involved with one for years that seemed really spiritual but it turns out the Guru was sleeping with the students and went into exile. Now, I'm really good at yoga but don't have much to show for myself but disillusionment.

Disillusionment

Can be a better teacher than a guru. But it sure feels shitty and most of us, myself included, turn to self pity before we move forwards.

Not karma. That's just consequences.
Obvious ones. Because bad choices. Still a thing.

The developed world has recently had an extended period of consequence-free delusion. "This time, it's different", and "the old rules don't matter", and "justice for all"...
So, inevitably and after much denial, we'll all reap the whirlwind. But something inevitable, is not always imminent. You have a bit of time.
Learn a trade. Plumber or electrician. Jobs that robots won't be doing for another decade or more. Maybe you can create a modest inheritance of your own.
Yoga teachers are not nearly so in demand.

Lol welll...

Gee, you, r, you .......... otherwise it's always the same: My dogma lifts it's leg and pisses on your karma's tire and then my karma runs over you dogma.

when Vancouver was a Guru capital in the 90's? So many flakes and people who were going educate and enlighten them. And people are nostalgic for the "old Vancouver".
