How does that make you feel trapped?
Why do you care what other people do?

is an ancient medicine (in it's proper CBD vs THC breeding) and like all meds it need be used wisely in proper prescription and dosage. Aspirin is a good example. It too has a helpful medical prescription but if aspirin is abused it will soon blow a hole in your guts. Likewise if weed is abused, it will soon blow a hole in your judgement. These days with all the rah rah rah about legalization it's vogue to say: "the bottle and the needle kill but weed has never hurt anyone." That's BS. I've lived in some ruff ghetto & seen many weedaholics loose their life because of weed induced judgement mistakes. Likewise here in the prosperous West anyone with eyes to see can witness enough people stoned stupit ..................... Walk good sisters and brothers

I think it's great.
Other people, getting f*cked up. Like any life-shortening, self-destructive or otherwise limiting behavior of strangers, it's a win for me, personally.
Decades ago there was a SF series by Pournelle and Stirling, where government-sponsored mass addiction was one of the themes. Brilliant stuff. Pretty accurate, turns out.
I only hope it spreads like the plague, now that it's legal. Natural (self-de)selection at its finest.

Just got an email today, ironically, about cities worldwide where weed consumption is the highest. Toronto is the only Canadian city in the top 10 - placed last. NYC is first (LA and Chicago also placed), and India (Mumbai, New Delhi), Pakistan (Karachi), Egypt (Cairo), the UK (London) and even Russia (Moscow) ranked higher.
But all of these are actual cities, and Vancouver is only a town, really. Everything here claims to be a city - villages with pretentions, neighborhoods with delusions of grandeur. Just Brooklyn, all by itself, is a few times the size of Vancouver. And it's only a borough.
Move out to the burbs. It's less obvious here. Also, less pretentious.

I know.

And that's why Vancouver is so dull.

Worrying because you don't take drugs is like worrying because you don't drink alcohol. Ever heard of personal choices? You are simply making your own choices which is nothing to sneeze at.

Must be a fake post
