What the Fuck!

At work a woman who I admire said I was too loud and she moved away from me for the day. I decided to be the bigger person and wrote her a note apologizing. Then she later said in private that she thought I was too loud and I apologized again. She then went on to say something else she thought was wrong with me and I just walked away. How can someone complain about you and when you apologize for it they hit with another thing? How is this a healthy work place. I have never wanted to retract my apology to someone as that one. And I want to quit. Fuck that job!

Not to be harsh but it sounds like you may have not read your environment, OR possibly you don't know about this yet. Loud brash people can be energy draining. It's easy to say "thats just me!! thats WHO I am!" easy. I used to be loud too. Then the people I wanted to be around didn't want to be around me. SO I CHANGED. I because quiter, I listened more than spoke. Again I'm sorry this isn't a dig at all. It's just how the world works. quite people want to be around other quite people.

Never apologize to uptight nitpickers. They'll never stop. Just politely suggest that she pursue a career in a library, or work on becoming more adaptable to her working environment and conditions. Then brush off any displays of drama she engages in after that.

Being held to account for your behaviour is very uncomfortable. Apologizing is good, changing your behaviour means that you meant it. And yes, you could have more than one problem, clearing the air and fixing problems makes for a healthy workspace. Consider what she has told you, maybe you are difficult to share workspace with and can do better. Either in that place or at your new job.

... is not healthy, it's something slaves do. Free people do not work, they enjoy!

Or maybe...

You just need an office to work in.

Never apologize. Right and wrong are religious fictions, I mean, anyone trying to tell you you're wrong, they're just trying to play God, to divide the good from the bad, the day from the night.

They're just trying to cut your soul into pieces---theirs are already probably broken, and misery loves company.

Day and night are divided, as is good, and evil. Only a sociopath without a moral conscience would say otherwise. However, just because someone has a "loud" personality type, doesn't make them bad person. A little annoying at times, but certainly not bad.
