Confused about your motives

And exactly what did you expect would eventually happen when you made the conscious decision to destroy their marriage? I guess you can at least look back on the good sex. That should get you through the self-loathing. And then you can do it all over again with someone else.

i hear you

had a friend tell his wife.
now i have lost the friend and the lover. and the lover was also just a really great friend. too bad the wife wasn’t into sharing. we don’t all have to be another person’s everything. that’s a lot of pressure.

I hope

I hope you end up being betrayed by someone who you put your whole life and heart into. You are an asshole and so is he.

You should feel awful

If there married.
Whats the point, they will never leave their partner. Would you want them that way ? Anyway!
You like sloppy seconds.
Marriage is a joke now a days.
Piece of dam paper, No substance.
And food for thought " they cheated on their spouse".
Guess what
They will probably cheat on you too.
You willing to just sex up someone, for no love in return.
Becareful, you will break your own heart!

Too late

Whatever gave you the idea that this was a bad idea sure showed up late to the party. Have fun with that guilt and shame!

I feel that the gay people and Europeans of a certain class handle these things better. However, that is only an impression I get from watching a lot of movies. Maybe everyone is too horny to be faithful and too jealous and righteous to handle it! (Except you, dear Confessions reader. You are perfect and so is your spouse.)

If you can't promise to be faithful, don't make that promise. If your future partner doesn't expect that promise, feel free to get married (but it's still probably a good idea to let each other know when you end up sticking your parts into the parts of someone else not in your relationship). If your future partner does want that promise, then they shouldn't be your future partner. If you decide to go ahead with the marriage anyways, they won't be your partner for long.
Also, I have a European friend. She (and her mom) knows that her dad has slept with other women outside of his marriage. Her mom is not happy about it. It has really put a strain on their marriage. They fight all the time.
Relationships aren't perfect in the movies - European or North American.

No need to share. I'm sure she'd be happy to get rid of the cheater, so you can have her sloppy seconds for yourself. If someone wants a open/poly relationship, then ask for that. Don't be a lying, selfish a$$hole by cheating and hurting your partner.

I don’t know what your intentions were when you told her. Either way it’s done and if you think you made the right decision because maybe you were remorseful or if you were doing it in hopes he would leave her. Find it in your heart to forgive yourself, they might not be able to but we are only able to control how we ourselves feel
