I wish I could still wear perfume but most perfumes give me a headache.

A sortof confession

Same here. The result is I’m always paranoid that I smell bad and so envious of the lovely scented folks that drift by and leave a delightful trail...the flip side being that a ton of people bathe in horrible overpowering perfume that ruins movies or shows (first world probs) and lots of people have it worse than me - nausea or allergic reactions beyond a headache. Anyway. I appreciate this confession

Something arrested my progress

As I strolled up the street on my way home tonight. There suddenly was a thought the stars and a discrete aroma. I stopped eager to investigate. Was it the trees? The earth melting? Was it you?

I don't wish anyone a headache, but if it means one less person spreading unwanted chemical odours around them in a fifty foot range, great. A lot of us end up with headaches and worse from other people's perfume. You just spared us one.

i can wear perfumes, not every day though. Most perfumes on the market contain synthetic ingredients which can contribute to ill health, damage scent perceptors, while the natural ingredients in scents can be just as bad. most allergies are to natural ingredients. I can smell the wretched, wretched Calvin Klein Eternity a mile away and it triggers a migraine for me and loathe anyone wearing that perfume, sure death if it's on the bus...I actually have to hold my breath, and get off the bus last I spend the rest of my day in immense pain.

They're unnecessary, they all stink and many people are allergic.
