I know this guy, a former friend

Who will stay in a relationship with a woman, no matter how dysfunctional, just because he’s afraid to be single. He’s constantly used by these women, knows he’s being used but lacks any backbone to help himself. It’s pathetic to witness and we’re no longer friends. I see this behaviour in many others, male and female, and it just baffles me. It’s like an epidemic of poor self esteem.

Your confession is crapping on people because they have low self esteem?

So you cut out a "friend" because they made you feel uncomfortable to see them be used and abused. See those quotation marks before and after the word friend. Well now make those with your hands when you say a word like this so at least everybody knows you'll cut and run if shit gets real.

So....

Why don't you find someone for yourself and show them how it's done?

To make their defects mine, why I have no idea. There is no reality where you got over on me like this. Although I'll admit I was getting very sickly toxic from all your projections. I thought you were a super special version of the same ol' song n' dance. I was wrong, you do not want answers just to create more questions. Btw just because you say something and the person your talking about doesn't cry, punch, insult in return or just plain walk away. Well it's not a I got you moment either. I was always waiting for you to wake up and never buying the stinky shit you tried to sell me. I thought you were that smart anyways. I still hold a little piece that says I'm right about you.

Or maybe I just like the woman I'm with more than you. Novelty is novelty, and it would have been nice, but it's still NOVELTY.

Yes Joe spot on, Novelty is the means by which you chose to demean and also make valid point using the same narrative. This is what we smart assholes call stupidity. Whatcha think buttercup any novelty in that motherfucker. Mmmm?

Actually, a novelty is something being new, original or different. (The novelty of driving his new car wore off.) OR it is a small toy, ornament or useless object.
