My experience

Earlier this year a sophisticated younger lady from Canada Post came into the shop to try and sell us on using them as a courier. In the end she lost the battle to me but what got her gears turning was when I asked her what will we do when you go on strike again because we all know history will repeat itself soon. Well that got her blood boiling a bit. She was fired right up...and I just smiled, listened to her rant and let her go. She left the shop happy and a little ditzy haha she made my day

Sales people. In their brains they're always referencing some book on sales like: Think and Grow Rich or The Psychology of Selling or this classic, How to Win Friends and Influence People by Dale Carnegie to keep themselves pumped up for sale. They work hard and someone has to do it but my gawd they are annoying.

This never actually happened and someone was just looking for a way to make a political/misogynist point without the moderators giving this confession the heave-ho?

I mean, there was barely any service disruption because they did a rotating strike.

You're looking at it superficially. Or I look at it deeper. In my opinion (see how I spelt that out? Use words people. Not letters! I digress), the OP seems to think deeper than that. What about his customers? Should they suffer because of Canada Post? I don't think they should. Customers are the only way to keep a company alive and profitable. I can deal with my personal package being a day or so late. I won't be happy...but I'll live. If I lose a customer then the company loses money. I will do my best for my customers by using a courier company that is reliable and efficient. One that doesn't strike or show poor service and attitude in general (have you ever seen those YouTube videos about C.P. coming to your door and leaving the "sorry we've missed you" card?). To me, that shows C.P. doesn't care about their customers and only care for what they want. I commend the OP on his confidence and courage to confront the woman about his issues with the postal service. No one is ready for that type of conversation, but she left happy so I think you did well! I'm with you OP! And when I talk about customers I mean my customers. I work for an industrial company in a 6,000sq ft warehouse who ships to other business' of all kinds. I sell products that are used everywhere. You won't be able to figure it out, guaranteed (Hint: I make your life easier)....but I assure you that you use them every day. If my product doesn't leave the building then my customer or my customer's customer's project is now delayed which could cascade through many business' and hinder other major projects. Canada Post shows they cannot commit to excellent service so I look elsewhere for it. I'm sorry (not really) that you don't like it, guys. Decision's are based from a business stand point - not an emotional one.

Are very difficult to find or identify, still when you see the light of the who. Smiles, all smiles and tears of loving joy.
