Nautical disaster

There is so much I want to say. But there is a danger to cracking the airtight seal that keeps all of my words safe inside of me. I might unleash an ocean of emotion that drowns everyone who dares to listen.

It's important to say what you have to say when you need to say it (kindly). We don't live well like pressure cookers.

My dear friend, repressing what you feel is soul-destroying. Your feelings are vital to your humanity. Be it about yourself, another person or a set of circumstances. You are entitled to feel what you feel and to be loved wholly by your friends and family for who you authentically are.

We are socialized from a young age to repress what we feel. And while there is some gain in our ability to live and work harmoniously because we “control” what we let out, ultimately too much repression is an act of self-betrayal.

Believe in the compassion of your fellow human beings, in their willingness to listen, to accept and to love you for all that you feel. And remember that some of us have been in deep seas for a long time. We’re good swimmers. Some of us even relish the challenge of a nautical disaster. I have this name for a reason...

maybe you should rename yourself Rusalka because drowning is the true fate of those who share their feelings with even a drop of water.

Wouldn't be that concerned about it. It's easy to fake feelings on the net, keyboard caring. Bet they never leave their house. Codependency issues if they relish that.

I was once known as a benevolent conduit between water and earth. Then, as often happens with boundary-crossing women, I somehow became submerged in a storyline that wasn’t mine.

It was all nothing but cold calculation.
