Gave blood...

... In summer. Felt great for a while. Then felt sicker and sicker. Winter blues? Nope. Went to doctor, demanded iron test. Doc insists nobody is anemic except women. Finally got test. Hemoglobin was avg but iron stores low. Doc said I was fine, offered antidepressants. Said no. Decided to start eating fortified breakfast cereal. Within 3 days no more blah. My mom also got anemic, doc never caught it she had to go private, they caught it. Moms hemoglobin was fine too. Our medical system sucks. Had this hapoen as a kid too. Had eczema. Detmatologist making six figures yucked it up about how I neede a month in Hawaii. Rx cortisone cream. Eczema went away once I started eating more protein. Glad im not on antidepressants using creams for nutritional problems...

a Naturopathic doctor if you want the right answers. They take all the courses for a medical doctor plus 2 more yrs of specialty. Mine gave me magnesium instead of sleeping pills and it worked.

spent for security for the royals instead to housing the homeless. Prince Harry already has 40 million and they can pay for it themselves.

most doctors in Vancouver are useless. they care about their mortgage , next vacation and not much else, pretty much like everyone else in crumbling dying Vancouver, city has gone drastically downhill, nobody cares about anyone else here anymore.

I really hope people understand this, if they don't please try it out. Your confession is true. Most problems we have are because of our diet and exercise, or lake of. Please try this out people, it can really help.

It seems your post is off topic. But I couldn't agree more. I read they are looking at a 35 million dollar home in pt grey to buy.

Anemia is NOT just because of diet and exercise! It affects millions of people and can be caused by many things, not just diet. It also doesn’t just affect women. Not all anemia is due to low iron. Anemia can have devastating health consequences and can be life-threatening, not to mention life changing. Unfortunately most doctors haven’t got a clue about it and frequently brush it off as nothing (or depression) until the patient is on their death bed. As someone who has suffered from this condition for years I speak from experience, as can pretty much every other anemic patient. It absolutely sucks.

Doctors

...make money from every prescription, test and extra they make you do. They make $25 from every RX they write. That’s why they’ll write RXs instead of giving you free advice. (I used to work in a doctors office and one doctor told this to me point blank.) I once told my doctor I had trouble sleeping and she offered an anti-depressant prescription. I looked at her in the eye and told her: “But I’m not depressed.” The LAST thing I ever want to ingest are antidepressants. The best defence is to inform yourself and get a second opinion if necessary.

I'm really sorry to hear this. I didn't mean to brush it off as a genuine illness. I was just saying the first step is super healthy eating and exercise. If that doesn't work then yet, definetly there is something else. I have other heath problems people don't understand myself, (especially doctors) and it is really frustrating when problems can't be resolved and they have a severe impact on your life.
