I honestly don't worry about dying.

It's the most inevitable thing in our lives on earth and not worrying about makes me not worry about lesser life stresses and they are all lesser.

Death is just a door to "someplace" else. Fear it not.

That’s cool you have no fear of dying a slow agonizing death alone after a bad car wreck, or over months or years from cancer without enough pain meds, or generally just alone because you are old and all your friends and family are dead, or realizing you are developing dementia, or feeling your body slowly stop working from a neuromuscular condition, or wheezing for every last breath because you are dependent on oxygen and your tank has run out or the power has gone out … I mean, good on you. “Lesser life stresses and they are all lesser” haha, I’m glad you’ve clearly never had to worry about a depressed love one taking their own life. It’s not all lesser but sweet and sad that you think so.

Death doesn’t worry me.
Not to keen on the dying part though.

That's how every human that has ever lived or ever will live will go...don't let it consume you as it obviously has.

It's always in the back of my mind, since I was very small. I've never been OK with it, like, it just can't be right, people we love just ceasing to exist, turning into ashes and compost. I do a lot of family history, and every time I find someone new in a record, they are remembered, not erased from existence. But death is there on the doorstep throughout our lives. How are we supposed to do this? I only know to distract myself and try not to focus on it. Nope, I don't want to go, ever.

I love this comment, especially the line, "every time I find someone new in a record, they are remembered, not erased from existence."
