I Saw you

Im just baffled at the amount of folks that write to GS's "I saw you" section about "someone" they were literaly "right next too". Can't you just talk to the "person"?. I understand people are afraid of rejection, but why don't you just try... you never know !.

You know
I used to think life was full of luck or not. Lol
But now upon more reflection on the subject.
I think life is more about timing.
Pass crossing, being there at just the right moment, kinda magic.
Take the time to make that extra effort,
if it does happen to present itself.
Cause it may never happen again.
Timing

Many of us are nervous in these situations and freeze. Then regret it. I enjoy reading the I saw you' s . I always hope someone saw me.

Absolutely. How sad too when you recognize something that would have been great (if only the timing was different).

Because as men,all we hear about is that we don't have any expectation of a woman's time, that she doesn't owe us anything.
If he's attractive and approaches her, then he's an awesome confident man. If he's not attractive, then he's a creepy guy and sexually harassing her.

It's 2020, it's time for women to "woman up" and talk to guys, but they won't because they'd be terrified of being rejected in front of 100 people on Skytrain, the pub, etc.

More like, if a woman makes obvious hints that she finds a guy attractive and he doesn't respond, it shows (1) that he's clueless (or not interested), and (2) doesn't take initiative (which likely means he doesn't take initiative in other areas of his life), so he's a bad risk.

And anyone who tries to defend their cluelessness with "but I don't know how to read hints" and isn't willing to learn (books, internet, professionals) the various obvious body language signals of interest is also LAZY, so even more a bad risk.

Oh I see, a successful but shy guy is a bad risk. Plenty of them around.

What if all the women on Skytrain, etc walk/sit around with closed body language? What if he never gets any hints?

Duh

Survey says No.
Many surveys, actually. And extensive psych research. No ambiguity at all.
One of the material, defining differences between the sexes is that men are nearly oblivious to hints and signals. Most of them suck at it. Not because they're lazy - just socialized very differently, from an early age. Also, male brains are structurally different, particularly as regards socialization and cooperation.
And finally, yes, it's 2020. Say what you want, or sod off.
Relationships are hard enough with great communication. If you're coming with this sort of expectation, it's much more likely to fail. No point.

Sometimes "people" are too "shy" to admit they don't "know" when to use "quotation marks" or really any type of "punctuation" and they write silly "confessions" about it.!?,

It's creepy, that's why.
