Rotting meat

My downstairs neighbor seems normal but I swear to god this person's cooks a pot of feces and rotting meat every couple weeks. I get home and it's like a atrocity occured in my home. Sometimes I wake up and they've been doing this at like 4 am Wtf What are you doing

situation. My (middle eastern) neighbors cook something putrid every now and then. It's like shit from a dog that eats really rich food, add some onions and a lot of garlic, simmered over medium heat. Walked out my door and almost hit the deck, the essence envelopes your mouth like a gastronomic nightmare. At first I looked for the source of the stench on the hallway carpet but soon realized it was someone's dinner...very gross indeed.

Easy...

yeah i wasn't sure if it would be acceptable to even say it, but there are plenty of foreign foods that STINK. Durian smells like gasoline mixed with a plastic bag of garbage left out in the summer sun. Korean soy bean soup smells like a men's hockey locker room (after the game) and Taiwanese 'stinky' tofu smells like whatever a moose must smell like (on the inside).

yuck

There are fermented fish dishes in Swedish, Filipuno, and Korean cuisine that have a terrible smell so is that maybe what it is?
My friend said that her tenant downstairs was cooking that once and it made her throw up.
Also there's that durian fruit that is supposed to stink like rotting flesh too.

Weird foreign food

I once worked with someone who would heat up her lunch in the office microwave. Occasionally she had what she referred to as some type of sticky rice ball. It literally smelled like vomit. It was so disgusting because the smell would waft through the ventilation system to the entire office. Absolutely repulsive.

Yuck

My girlfriend (later wife) lived with a fellow from Mainland China. Very nice roommate by all accounts, but he liked cooking up certain kinds of guts, which did indeed have a distinct poopiness. Maybe it was delicious though.
