Are these politics stupid?

I'm not a CIS male, but I don't talk to my non-CIS female roommate about my sexuality. She made a post referring to me as a CIS male. Isn't this forced outing if you correct the person? I hate this CIS label because it's just used to either interfere with personal lives or be demeaning to CIS or non-CIS people....

Life was so much easier back in the day. You were almost certain to be into girls if you were a guy, and if you weren't then no one worried much about it aside from a narrow segment of society generally not worth worrying about.
Sorry..

But what the heck is CIS? I hear this term but it is never explained.

Tell her she shouldn’t assume and leave it at that.

I don't mind being called CIS, it's like being called a round-earther

I personally think that is wise. It’s shocking to see downvotes from the far left, as they try to destroy their only hope: Bernie.

I guess it depends on who you're taking to but CIS started out as a term used by allies and now it's taken a more negative meaning.
Obviously I'm not sure how you identify - - gay? Or maybe trans? But usually CIS has nothing to do with your sexuality ie. Being gay but rather if you identify with your born gender.
I dunno I could be wrong. But either way, I'm sorry your roommate has made you feel uncomfortable.
