I feel dumb

I confess that I feel like an idiot because I keep being sad about the possibility that I hurt the one I love. I hate to think of him being hurt. The reason I feel dumb though, is because I know that he didn’t care when he hurt me. Maybe he wasn’t hurt or sad about losing me; I don’t know, but I just can’t seem to stop worrying about him and his feelings.

You don't know until you talk to them

It's that simple. You'll learn an awful lot about what you think versus what you don't know.

Possibility?

No, you experienced hurt because you caused hurt. You hurt the one you claim to love, which is not love, so they hurt you back so you'd know what it feels like to be abandoned and betrayed, which is what you did over and over despite their loving you through all your awful behaviour. The idiot was the one who gave you chances. You're just trying to talk yourself out of feeling what you should feel, which is bad. You deliberately and repeatedly hurt the one you claim to love, and that is not love.

This way of thinking is common for people who have broken up with/finally created boundaries with a Narcissist.

Bingo. The reason I broke up wasn’t because I didn’t (or don’t still) love him. It was because it was completely one-sided, with him requiring that I have zero boundaries. Whenever I tried to set them or worse, actually enforce them, the reaction I got was him basically calling it quits on the relationship. It came down to my self-respect, and my belief that I’m worth more than what I was getting. All comments inferring that somehow I’m this terrible person who sets out to deliberately hurt him, simply don’t know the truth because they don’t know me, or else they prefer not to know. People break up with someone they love all the time. In fact it’s the hardest thing EVER to do! It’s easy to walk away from someone when you really just don’t care, but to give up on a relationship when you’re still in love with them is incredibly difficult and painful. People don’t do it unless they believe there’s no other reasonable choice.

thing as real love.
It doesnt exist.
Its a useless emotion that will eventually break your heart.
Leave you with nothing but sadness and pain.
Wondering what happened .
Why someone would do what they did for so long.
They Love You ?
I think not.
Only what they can take from you.
Love Sucks
Ive never been in love *
Nor do I want to be.
Hell No.

Why is every failed

Relationship due to one of the two being a narcissist. This is not always the case, nor does it mean it was here. Usually the person feeling abandoned feels crazy as well. They are unsure if they were to blame or not. This is because all blame falls at their feet and they are talked in such a circle it’s near impossible to remember what’s their fault and where they were set up to be blamed. A real shitty place to be, but still selfish people are not broken unfixable monsters either. I have seen some real compassion from so called npd people but it’s always said that was to an agenda and not real compassion at all. Where do we get to judge like this is what I think.

Fake love

Feb 26, 2020 at 4:04pm

You didn't love them. You were just obsessed with the idea of them loving you, and the possibility of losing their love to someone else. You gave them an illusion to fall in love with, and when you got them in a vulnerable enough position you killed the illusion and murdered their love in the process. You enjoyed the power in doing it. You didn't stop there either. After that you were just messing with their soul, and they lost that to you as well. Sorry, but you should have left it at their heart. Probably not a big deal. Most people don't go to heaven anyways from what I've read.
