I'm sad about the state of the world

and I don't know what to do about it. Everything seems so hopeless. There are no easy answers; I don't know if there are answers at all.

Welcome to the Anthropocene. The party's over. Let things run their course. Try to enjoy the time you have on earth without hurting anyone. Peace.

Our future will be absolutely amazing. Assuming we don't extinguish the species first.
Abundant leisure time, easy and fast travel, unlimited resources and 400-year lifespans. Many fewer children (because declining fertility - yay!). Like Brave New World, but with automated everything and instant gratification. I'm not even joking.
Sure, there'll be some awkward moments along the way - wars, pandemics, barbarity and horror, some other extinction event... But we're like really big, squishy, upright cockroaches. We'll endure.
And if we do die out, it'll be even better. The planet will return to approximately its prehuman state within only a few dozen thousand years. There will be nothing obvious left to indicate we ever existed, except some pyramids at Giza.
Take heart (your own, not someone else's).

Look beyond

Contrary to how the media spins it, in all of human history, there has never been a better time to be alive than now. As a percentage of population, there have never been fewer poor than now, racism, sexism and most other “isms” are at the lowest point in history. Most other markers of human flourishing show us in a better situation now than ever before. Our manufactured conflicts and the putting of one side against the other would have you think otherwise though. Try to look past what the media tells you and experience what you see instead of experiencing what you are told.

I hope this helps.

Think about this though..
Food for thought!!
Whos been running the earth since the begining of time ?
A man.
Its time to hand the reins over boys, you've made quite the mess of things.
A lady in charge would have never let all this crap go on for so dam long, over and over. Same shit war, power , control, money , pride oh the pride and lack of care of life and nature, the earth !!!
Prime Example..
Women in charge
Wonden Womans Island.
Things ran pretty good there.
Ya , Ya its a comic but
Think about it..
Men cant even hit the toliet yet. Dam
Bahaha
Ya we are all doomed
Maybe some nice aliens will save our sorry asses :)

The answer is stop answering yes.

I mean stop being a yes sir right away sir type person and look for a reason to say "Sir is that really the best idea, kicking all those homeless people out of an area they have known as home for a long while. With zero recourse on any type solution to interim house and feed them." " It seems so unkind, unfair and inhuman, to merely say" "Scum begone and begone NOW!" Say it though because even after you're fried you'll still look that much hotter in the mirror while Fat Cat will still look grey and fat!

Now I know where this firehouse torrent of trolling is coming from. It's like they say - wait a while, and @Theanswer will come to you.
We used to call that astroturfing, and then sockpuppetry, and on to "sponsored content"... But it's always been deceptive shilling, and always will be.
Not that I needed another reason, but thanks anyway.
