In love with a friend

This person is really sweet, kind and nice. I want to have her in my life more but I don't think she feels the same way. Right now it is not a possibility too.

Dan offers some advice on where she might find it.

well, there's always the good ol' (1) sharing your feelings with her to find out it's unrequited, (2) and then having her use you as an ego boost, (3) followed by a painful cutting her out of your life, and finally (4) creeping her quietly for a decade online. works for me?

Believe in yourself, maybe she likes you too.

Sometimes people don't feel the same way we do and sometimes the time isn't right. While it's ok to daydream a little, make sure you don't get stuck there. Go find someone who likes you back and with whom the time is right.

Stop posting shit and tell her.
Life is too short.
Possible
Impossible
Life is full of surprises.
Good advice here

I myself got stuck in a looping vortex of love in the one sided variety and it was the worst thing I've been through. It would have been easier if I had taken the advice handed to me early on but I was so stuck in love it seemed that I could not take simple common sense stuff and use it. So don't be a me and take this advice and move on if it's not looking like it was to be.

I’ll bet your thinking this was posted by someone else. I guess I’m not the only one going through that sort of thing. While it’s really sad because I know how awful it feels it’s somewhat comforting knowing I’m not alone. Still sad for op though they’ll be alright as long as they don’t bring it here and stay here in hopes of.... well I’m not sure a miracle I guess.

No.
And she's not French.

You won’t know unless you tell her and you could be missing out on an opportunity.

Opportunity?????
Dating a mom is a commitment. A commitment to helping raise someone else's child - the child of the man she ACTUALLY wanted (but who isn't the type to stay) so now she has to look for a backup plan. Who would want that? Always number 2 AT BEST, and in all likelihood just the 'good enough' she would never have found good enough if she didn't have the child to begin with! What a deal!
