Maybe it's time for durable fashion?

I can't stand the wasteful disposable clothing that costs nothing and disintegrates after washing it once. I'd rather buy less clothes and have it last longer than take part in fast-food-esque fashion.

an expensive brand. They are well made and last forever. I wear my one or two same things all the time.

There are clothes that disintegrate after 1 wash???
I knew about edinle panties, but that's too much!
We're living in times where we need to go back to building stuff that lasts! ...and reusing, repurposing, and just in-general reducing.

But most often, it's the really expensive stuff.

Disintegrates after one washing?
Are you buying clothes made out of paper?
Here's a thought: if you want better clothes, pay more for them.

And shoes...!

I've had shoes where walking in the rain dissolved the glue holding them together....

I now spend a bit more and live (outside of work, anyway) in a pair of Blundstones that I love. At work, I wear a pair of expensive dress boots that are comfy and well-made. Much better to just pay $250 for a pair of boots that will last a long time than to pay $125 twice for footwear that falls apart.

Also - check the fabrics for durability when purchasing. I refuse to buy jeans made of thin fabric.

And if you're crafty (and willing to try), you can make your own stuff, too - knitting/crocheting/sewing. Bonus: then it's totally unique and nobody else is wearing what you've got on!
