Celebrities Stop

I am tired of celebrities telling us all how we can do better, like them, by staying at home. I have no problem with the staying home concept, but I hate hearing about it as they post from their mansions. Stop applauding yourselves. You all have so much wealth staying home isn’t a hardship. Again, not saying people should go out, but i’d rather hear from someone in a 600 sq ft apartment talking about their choice to stay home than some smug actress getting her damn food helicoptered into her 30 acre property. Also... most people can’t afford not to work, or will get evicted and starve. Celebrities, stop applauding yourselves for having enough money to make lifestyle choice most cannot afford. You sound as out of touch as Marie Antoinette.

Yeah.
To watch the celebritards live it up on social and asocial media, before this train wreck... To hear the politicians and talking heads posture, pose and squabble in the culture and ideology holy wars... Constantly angling, signaling and triangulating for any advantage, no matter how small...
How powerful was that?
Now, even more powerful to watch their colossal privilege and entitlement flapping in the gale, loud and proud for all to see.
They wear fashionable protective gear and get tested for the plague...but the masses don't. Hell, not even the medical workers. How about that?

Not a fan of Reynolds, or Bezos, or Ma, but at least they stepped up and gave resources, personally, to help in this sh*tstorm.
I haven't seen f*ck-all useful from those supposedly in charge. Just platitudes and lies. "We're all in this together", but some are more equal than others, amirite, comrade? "Animal Farm" is BACK, baby. Dust off that how-to manual, put it next to "1984" on the cabinet meeting room table.
I used to think Canada was better run than the US, but that was a decade ago.
Just a bad joke now. America's hat, indeed.

At least they are telling people to stay home and showing examples of themselves quarantined and also ‘entertaining’ people who I guess have nothing better to do than pay attention to quarantined celebs. Sadly a lot of people follow celebrities lead, could you imagine if they were telling us there was no problem and to live as normal? That would be way worse..
