I was out walking today

In New West and a woman on a treadmill caught my eye. Kinda shocked, I figured I must be looking into a private office. It was an open gym with multiple people working out!!! So you inconsiderate a-holes at the gym on 6th Street in New West, Go fuck yourselves!!

There is no quarantine. People are free to go out for walks, the issue is not being in prolonged contact with people. Lots of people seem to be repeating "stay at home" like it is an order or something, it is (1) a suggestion and (2) it doesn't literally mean do not go outside, it means do not go outside needlessly. Humans need daily exercise, you should still be going for a 30-60 minute walk every day, like you do every day, right? Riiight!

The other issue is that strength training is an important part of good health, not everyone has a home gym, so if this goes on, we're going to have population-level loss of muscle mass.

Get your facts straight.
It is perfectly safe and even recommended to go for a walk outdoors as long as you practice distancing.
Very few people are under actual quarantine.
Before you post something have some idea what you’re talking about.

Um, no. 911 is for emergencies. I believe the correct number for reporting this sort of thing is 311. #themoreyouknow

Uh, no. 911 is for actual emergencies. Are you the sort of person who calls them to ask what time it is? To report issues like this one, phone the City.
