You won't be the only one. People will spill into the streets and be uncharacteristically smiling and saying hello, bars will be full of people who won't be putting up barriers because they're starved of companionship and clubs will be full of horny people who haven't had sex in weeks. Prepare yourselves for a great party, Vancouver.

OK Then

When this is all over, we should shut down all the streets for a day and have a city-wide street party.

...aaannd there will be another outbreak in the fall.
Assuming it dies down in the summer. Which is very questionable, considering tropical countries are having outbreaks.
This very rag just published an article about one doctor at RCH who sends 3 or 4 patients with symptoms home to self-isolate, because he's unable to test them. And how the province is lowballing the numbers and undertesting.
Also, anyone with only mild symptoms is officially considered "recovered". This, when the CDC says that one out of every 4 is asymptomatic and infectious.
Because it worked so well in Wuhan. And later, in the US.
This place is such bullsh*t.

Well, I guess that disqualifies me. Time and time again, I've been passed up by women for other men who are more confident, attractive, have their shit together, and are just all around adventurous, exciting and fun. After the pandemic is over... well, what's the point? While I wallow in the agony and pain of loneliness and emptiness in my life, couples out there have each other to keep them company, look out after one another, take care of each other when sick, and satisfy their sexual needs. I guess this pandemic will force me to get used to being lonely and isolated for the rest of my life, since there is nobody out there for me. Sigh.

and unfortunately

another baby boom is gonna happen.
Which will make for another pandemic in the future.
Will humanity ever learn?
