I confess that I feel very fortunate

during this crazy time because self-isolating is not a big deal for me. I live alone and have always been fairly reclusive. I do miss my gym and the Library but I have exercise bands at home and the Internet is an infinite source of e-books, movies, music. This must all be very difficult for the social animals out there but just load up your Skype and socialize all you want. And remember, this too shall pass.

Same here. I see the current situation as a positive: all these years of living in seclusion has given me plenty of practice for long-term self-isolation during this pandemic. Working from home has been an easier adjustment than I thought -- with the additional benefit of not having to listen to self-entitled Millenials gossip at the next pod of desks in the open-plan office. Like you, I also miss the gym -- but alas, I am without any gym equipment at home, but can get by with exercises that utilizes my body weight. Plus, I don't need to deal with the attitudes and self-righteousness from other gym users. And don't get me started on my uncaring and ungrateful family.

Come to think of it, the last paragraphs reminds me of how much I despise certain people. Not all of humanity of course, but I've had enough of dealing with such people, and self-isolation is a welcome retreat from them. As far as I'm concerned, it can last as long as it needs to.

All I've been doing is popping pills and sleepin'. Actually it's not so bad just hafta remember to eat something once in a while and go for a pee-pee
