Not true. As a health worker I can get tested right away if I have any symptoms with results in 24 hours.

If you think you have COVID and aren't so sick you require hospitalization, you absolutely should NOT be going out and endangering other people. Sounds like your partner should have a talk with you.

It's allergy season, and regular old cold and flu are still a thing. Use the government COVID self-assessment tool and call 811 or a clinic if necessary.

Some can get tested, many can't. They're told to go home and self-isolate, because testing is still too limited. And Canada hasn't even approved a serological test. Ironically, India announced a universal serological testing program. But not here, no.
Maybe you're one of the lucky ones. One person is not statistical - you're an anecdote, aka noise.
Also, some have to wait days and even weeks for their test results.

I'm quite familiar with the bug, and being asymptomatic is irrelevant. Half of the infected (or more) never show symptoms. And yet they're infectious (thus the silent spread). Since you're so fond of caps, it may be helpful FOR YOU to read some more before telling me what's up.
No symptoms, but it doesn't matter. I go out to get food and supplies, and to walk dogs. And then have to dodge all the clueless, entitled mouth-breathers who don't know what 6+ feet look like.
