Appreciating the little things again.

Say "hello" to your neighbour.
Smile when you cross the street.
Say "thank you" when a stranger holds open the door.
Delete that dating app, let's bring back "old fashioned" dating.
Introduce yourself, and your friends.
Get to know your community.
"Give them a call," don't "shoot them a text".
Appreciate the simple things in life again, value human interaction.

you don’t wear a mask during this pandemic? Or you’re some religious nut job that thinks they’re immune and will be saved? No thanks, I’ll stick with Sinder.

in the right place but unfortunately your post is just sadly naive and dated.
I like all the things you said but the world just doesn't work that way anymore.

Respectfully disagree. I think most of the actions listed in the original post are highly practical, easy to implement, and timely in helping us move through the current climate.

Not sure this would work in Vancouver unless you are super friendly and outgoing. Most locals are very standoffish and don’t make eye contact.

Not going to happen in Vancouver. This city is not receptive to anyone unless they are rich, powerful, connected, attractive, and high up the social scene.
