I have done this to people with no mean intentions on my part. It’s only realizing later, that “hey that was so and so” that I feel like a dick. I forget faces after time. I’m sure people have forgotten about me too.

They either didn't notice you, or they didn't remember you, or maybe you just weren't who they thought you were to them.

I used to wrk in an industry where I dealt with large groups of people all the time. I was known by them because they saw me all the time. However, even though I was always friendly I often didn’t recognize them. I’m also visually impaired so unless someone is close enough I won’t be able to see them clearly.
