Love: I'm cautious if you seem to want it so much

From personal experience I discovered that there are some people out there that just want someone to fall romantically in love with them so they can go on some evil sadistic power trip of murdering said love inside another person. Just completely crushing their spirit, messing with mind and soul. Some people just want to destroy in others what they don't have in themselves. I realize most people never run into anyone so sinister, but nonetheless there are some truly evil people out there, and some of us have encountered them. If it seems someone wants it a bit too much from me now, that's going to be a big red flag for someone of my experience. I don't need anymore serious inconveniences like that which drove me to a mental breakdown and a blotched suicide attempt. I will never repeat that again.

I just really liked someone.
Because I thought they were special.
No evil sadistic murderous power trip.
I just liked someone.

Yup.
Learn to trust your gut.
It's not running away from. It's running towards a better future.
Why would someone think they were being called out for being an evil murderous sadistic thing unless they are in fact doing the very things?

Oh no biggie then. Nothing with too sinister of intent. Just some evil negligence on your part is all. Nothing you can do but light a match to what you did and carry on like it never happened. Nothing really catches up to you in the end. That's just all a bunch of morality enforcing rhetorical nonsense.

Anyone that has loved you or does love you is special. No matter how much you may or may not have liked them, you just liked them loving you even more.

There are some people who fall in-love with someone but don't expect that person to be in-love with them because they have had experiences that have told them that they are unworthy to have someone so amazing.

To my missed op: I'm sorry that i let those experiences make me think i wasn't good enough for you. If I had known I had a chance with you, I would have made you so glad you let me know.

Why is like/ love so complicated.
You just feel it in your heart :)
@Poster guy, its a shame you think love is an inconvenience.
Im sorry you have met the wrong people.
Dont let the few spoil the many.

Sounds like you’ve learned that lesson and are better off for it. I’m just starting to do the same. Hard admitting to myself that some people are truly that evil, but my own sanity is worth more than giving someone the benefit of the doubt now.

That almost sounds like a line from Of Mice and Men.

"Then all of Lennie’s woe came back on him. “Jus’ my pup,” he said sadly. “Jus’ my little pup,” And he swept the hay from on top of it. “Why, he’s dead,” she cried.
“He was so little,” said Lennie. “I was jus’ playin’ with him . . . an’ he made like he’s gonna bite me . . . an’ I made like I was gonna smack him . . . an’ . . . I done it. An’ then he was dead.”

...do exist, but I don't think they do it on purpose. My ex is just oblivious to being a bull in the china shop of relationships.

They do it on purpose, otherwise they would not be like that and they would not exist.
