Rage. Rage against the Machine?

Of all my confessional hopes and dreams, it is that there is a correction to concert prices, localized love ticket buyers not bots, and a return to concerts that have die hard fans that lined up for tickets are in the audience, not broke people who got fleeced into $200 face value tickets to bands they once saw for $30 at Plaza of Nations.

I think I paid $5.00 to see the Ramones first show in 1977 at the Commodore Ballroom with around 150 other people.
I did have to stand outside for 30 minutes waiting to get in lol

RATM claim to be progressive liberals and activists who care about the little people, why the hell would they be asking so much for tickets? I never understood their popularity. It's commercial rock/rap/metal. They were no Fugazi. A Fugazi show Would be maybe $25 dollars these days due to gas prices. Last years Dinosaur jr tickets were $35 and they're touring in a expensive bus with a driver. Screw RATM, cheesie hooks and all.
Ha ha ha!

Why do you need to see some big name act?
Go see a small act.
Or learn an instrument. Drag a generator and some speakers to one of the several locations in the lowermainland where you can put on a show without being bothered.

Rage against the Machine on a bigger picture. Here's a comment towards the Straight news article on the food / farm marketing industry euthanizing live stock, dumping of mega milk supply, etc due to drastic reduced restaurant demand from Covid-19. All this waste and then we see the fairly recent high profile charities raising money for the less fortunate, food banks, etc...
