I've got a couple axes I have been generally concerned about during this covid thing. Entirely because of elderly family members who I always got along with and had higher risk levels from this virus.

I pondered reaching out for a couple weeks, hesitating because i was sure it would be wierd.

After a while, i realized none of them reached out to me, although i have elderly family members at risk, so i figured what's the point.

This then made me realise some of the people i considered friends never bothered to check in even though they knew my parents situation and made me realise I need to reconsider exactly how close I consider them.

Then I realised I hadnt reached out to some of these people either.

Then I realised we are all selfish pr**ks, so who cares what some other selfish pr**co thinks of me, and reached out to an ex that I've stayed in touch with on good terms.

Realised she too was a selfish prick, and didnt lose anymore sleep over any of it.

Really just a couple of dinks in love with themselves. But after a while even dinks start to get it
