I've been supporting big business with my income. I've been purchasing hundreds of liters of gasoline from huge companies and over-stocking up on groceries from multinational conglomerates. And the prices keep going up. Now I've learned that they qualify for government assistance to help pay their rent and labor bills. I was hoping to go to a Rolling Stones concert that never happened. They won't give me my money back. I heard Mick and Keith are hurting because of the downturn. It's getting to the point where I don't have fifty cents left for the parking meter at the liquor store, let alone a quarter for the panhandler outside.

You really think "most of us" actually have the spare cash to give large tips to people right now?
I don't know what you do for a living but I'm just scraping by right now with fewer work hours and the same bills to pay.

Myself, for one. No one has ever given me a hand up, never lent nor given me money.
I had to work for everything I have gotten,and won't let anyone try to shame me into giving up my hard earned money.
