He doesn't rush over to see me anymore He doesn't text me before I wake up just because he loves knowing how it warms my heart, anymore he doesn't make plans with me, anymore he keeps pictures of women from past relationships on his phone and on his computer where I can see them--and never tucked them away as I suggested. I didn't ask him to delete them, just find a place for them. This was supposed to be our time, now It's ok though. Because once Covid is over, I'm going to rent my place out and travel the world. That has always been one of my goals, and I'll soon have the freedom to do that. Sometimes the thing we think we need is just the thing we need to propel us toward something way, way better. Truth.

I remember the feeling and I wouldn't want to repeat it
anymore.
One day I'll be travelling the world too (but I hope it isn't soon because i want my parents to live as long as poss!) and maybe we will cross paths. You will have started travelling before me though and I would love to hear about the adventures you'll have had.
Relationships ~with people we really loved and enjoyed being around~ ending SUCK so bad. BUT you will soon be a free bird flying around the world.

Your post is timely for me. I was just reminiscing about a relationship I ended recently. How he stopped making any effort to impress me or woo me, once he felt confident that he had me. Started taking me for granted as soon as I admitted that I was in love with him. I wish I’d understood then what I do now, and didn’t waste so much time hoping that guy would reappear, because he never did. Follow your dreams and don’t let anyone treat you like you’re a sure thing.

Think again about travelling the world lol. Once Covid is over no one is going to be fat off renting out their properties...when the market for gouging people will have passed into the history books.

Will be hearing sob stories of landlords unable to keep up their own mortgage payments.

Maybe you're not that into this relationship? Sounds like he used to do a lot to show his affection but maybe never got the same in return? I only know from my experience, but when it's expected I don't feel good constantly doting and when I stop to work on myself i'm at fault? Why were you looking through his photos anyways? Huge invasion of privacy. Those are his memories and if a former partner of his, you have no right to erase his history. There's another side to every story, that's all i'm saying.
