Please keep in mind that everyone has some sort of social anxiety sometimes (first date, starting at a new office, doing a speech etc.) We all want to be liked and accepted and fear the opposite. So most importantly, don’t beat yourself up, even if your anxiety is on the high end of things. The only way you can really get better is to challenge yourself to face your anxiety and engage in social interactions, no matter how small. Even if they don’t go as you hope, it’ll be worth noting that the world doesn’t stop spinning and you can always try again. Best of luck!
