Hair and nail salon

Chose empty businesses that had fresh air coming in with open window and doors. Hair stylist told me she may not survive this pandemic drop in business with downtown Vancouver rent. Nail tech has two sons in high school. No other customer inside the whole nail salon but me. Not sure if these places will survive. Supporting them and tipped them 33% - 38% because they really need the money more than I do. I get weirded out when I go through previously bustling places and they are still and quiet. Literally like the soul has been eviscerated.

Shows that many of these businesses were and are not vital to people. Many people have woken up to the fact that they wasted too much many on useless crap.......

These services are useless and I feel sorry for nail techs and hair stylists who were conned into paying to learn this shit in a school when one can learn it for free online and do it themselves. I haven’t gone to a hairstylist in 15 years or so because hair cutting is actually easy. Wanna get nails done? Order a manicure kit online and your first few tries will look funny but if one is determined and puts in some effort, you get the same result as the nail salon.
