I think the 7 PM pot banging thing thing

has gotten stale worn out its welcome. It was a cool idea and I like the supportive idea behind it but it just leaves me cold now.

It's an excuse to wave and say hi to the people living in the building opposite

The idea behind it was never about it's entertainment value. It's just gone stale because the virus didn't turnout to be as bad as they initially thought it would be.

It's getting old. I notice that fewer people are participating in it. I think it's done for a lot of people.

100, 000 people dead in the states in 2 months with 2 million cases by tomorrow. I work on the DTE, you have no idea what’s going on. You are a fucking idiot. Wake up.

Nobody...

Support fatigue

It's not that we don't care...we do...or that we've given up...we haven't...just that the daily ritual has come and gone. Now that we're seeing how this can go on for months, if not years, the reality has set in and who wants to bang pots every day for years? I'm surprised it went on this long.
Front lines, we appreciate you every day. Thank you.
I want to live my life now.

Annemarie Plas, the founder of the Clap for Carers, has called for it to end on a "high note" before it becomes politicized.
