I'm struggling a bit

with my mental health. Doing OK mostly, working out at home every day, lots of walking, even lost a few pounds because I realized I was getting a bit hefty from the extra pandemic eating. But it's the overwhelming onslaught of negative news that's starting to affect me. I'm in my 60's and this is not like any other time in my life, there's a palpable, scary vibe going on. I'm trying to be kind, patient and positive but the only place I feel safe is inside my small apartment.

Sounds like you are making some smart moves toward taking care of yourself and your mental health.

I’m with you on the agoraphobia. There’s a lot of recalibration happening on both a personal and political level, so it makes sense that (for some of us) the desire for physical movement has been diminished so that we can get grounded and prepare to step into change.

Good luck and be sure to take a media break if your well-being is asking for it. It may be that you know all that you need to know for the time being.

Rather delicate piece of work. Doesn't take much to upset me and this has been a real test. Probably why I live alone- not good with surprises

I know this is not tangible, but sending you all my love. Amazing how you are treading that thin fine line. Physical and mental exercises help you big way. Telling you this from experience (I was diagnosed with clinical depression), everything will be alright. And if things are not alright, we will make them alright for us. Just don't avoid talking to people when you need to.
